It is our desire for our international student friends to feel welcome and adjust smoothly to life in the USA. We also offer a chance to learn about Christianity and grow spiritually. By connecting with God, we can find strength and grace to handle the challenges of academics and living in a new country!

Get to know the faces behind XAi:
Bryan and Cecile Ames
Bryan has worked as a Computer Programmer and Cecile, originally from the Philippines, as a Physical Therapist before they served with Chi Alpha for 20 years in Missouri and Illinois. Bryan and Cecile transitioned to Florida State University in April 2021. Their focus at FSU is working with international students through XAi. They love to welcome both international and American students, and share about Jesus with any who are interested. They have had the privilege of meeting international students from all over the world. They are pictured with their three children, Jeremy (20), Abigail (18), and Jonathan (17).
