CHI ALPHA 5K
Approximately 149 million children under the age of 5 suffer physical ailments due to chronic malnutrition.

According to the United Nations Children's Fund, nearly half of all the deaths in children under 5 are attributable to undernutrition.

How can we help this next generation not just survive, but thrive? It starts with helping one.
"If you can't feed a hundred people, then feed just one." -Mother Teresa

We are excited to announce the first annual Chi Alpha 5k, in partnership with feedONE! feedONE is an organization within Convoy of Hope committed to feeding hundreds of thousands of children.
While most college students aren't able to physically go and help, we can help by giving!
The Chi Alpha 5k is an entirely nonprofit, fundraiser run. So whether you walk, run, or just give, any donation helps. Even just $10 can feed a child for an entire month!

This fundraiser 5k will take place November 9, 2025 at Florida State University. Check-in for the run will be from 8:20am-8:50am, and the run will begin promptly at 9:00am. The course will go around FSU's campus for 3.1 miles, with the run beginning and ending at the Integration Statue in front of the Student Union.

There will be post-run snacks provided, raffle giveaways, partnership with a few other organizations, medals for the top runners (for those who take their 5k runs very seriously), and more!

We hope this will be a unifying event where people from diverse walks of life come together for a common good.

feedONE is a campaign that supports Convoy of Hope’s Children’s Feeding program. Currently serving more than 639,000 children in 39 countries, feedONE believes a nutritious meal shares hope — opening the door for a child to be healthy and well-nourished.

With your help, many more can be provided with nutritious meals. Let's work together to end the hunger crisis among children.
